Our Mission: To improve child, parent, and community outcomes through education, employment, and health by creating a sustainable infrastructure for success.
In October 2016, Early Head Start re-opened in Nicholtown! The Rubye H. Jones Head Start Center, located within the upper building at Phillis Wheatley, currently serves 25 children.

Our Parent Café parents have shared that they very much enjoy the opportunity to meet twice monthly with other Nicholtown families to learn and support each other in the difficult (yet rewarding!) parenting journey.
Since our beginning as the Nicholtown Early Learning Taskforce to becoming a 501(c)(3) as the Nicholtown Child and Family Collaborative in 2017, we have accomplished a lot with Nicholtown.
These are just a few of the numbers of children and families' lives whom the Collaborative has been able to touch.
Connect with us to learn more about how you can partner and/or volunteer to promote a truly community-driven project with the Nicholtown Child and Family Collaborative.
